Blue aragonite is a rare mineral mined in Afghanistan. It's getting harder and harder to find it in high quality like this heart. The mined material is supplied to the Pakistani mineral market. Mineral engravings are made by hand in very poor conditions, using only basic tools. Pakistani artisans earn very hard for their meager livelihood. Buying the product of their hard work is a big help to them.

How to take care of the heart?
I recommend treating the raw side with oil every month. This will keep the color bright and stable in daylight. The polished side does not require any special care. Polishing itself sufficiently protects the mineral and its beautiful colors.

About the shipping
