13cm Orange Iron Aragonite Specimen: Rare Raw Mineral - Crystal Druse on Fluorescent Calcite for Collection and Home Decor

Look at this gorgeous Orange Aragonite, Iron and Calcite Specimen. It's self-standing, so it doesn't need any holder. On the front side there is a druse of many big aragonite crystals combined with a rusty iron. They are translucent - they glow golden yellow in the flash light. Mother rock on the backside contains white albite and fluorescent calcite that glows purple in the UV light. This orange aragonite specimen is a unique combination of rare minerals, that's why it belongs to your mineral collection.

How to use it?
This specimen is for sure a collector's item. But it is also stand-able and of a nice size and elegant shape. So you can use it as a natural decoration. It will look great on the shelf in your living room or study.

Where it comes from?
Orange aragonite is mined in Afghanistan and supply to the Pakistani mineral market. That's where I found it for you.

How to take care of it?
The calcite on the back does not need any special treatment. The aragonite crystals could use a little bit of oil from time to time. I use the furniture and wood oil which I find best. You can apply it with a cosmetic pad.
